The Bala Cranberry Festival, a popular yearly event, helps boost tourism and enhance community well-being through financial support. With a history of attracting over 500,000 attendees in the past 35 years, it is a must-see event.
Since 1984, volunteers have worked tirelessly to make the Bala Cranberry Festival a must-attend event. Our Mission: Bala Cranberry Festival’s purpose is to EXTEND tourist season and to IMPROVE quality of life for our community by providing financial aid to individuals and organizations in need.
The Bala Cranberry Festival creates lifelong memories. Attendance of more than half a million people estimated over the past 35 years. Not bad for a town of 700! Supported by hundreds of community groups and non-profit associations. More than 150 local musicians graced the main stage.
Festivals and Events Ontario has named this event as one of the Top 100 Events in Ontario.
