The Buckhorn Festival of the Arts brings professional, world-renowned artists from across Canada to the park-like setting of the Buckhorn Community Centre. This event originated as the first fundraising event in 1978 to help pay for the mortgage on the original buildings and land. Today, the show is known as one of the country’s premier events.
Not only does the show feature professional artists, but there’s also an Amateur Art Competition, Art Activity Zone, exhibit of youth art, and live music. As well, an annual Special Exhibit is curated by a committee of artists to bring something unique to each year’s event.
Experience a weekend of art, music, food and great company at the 2024 Buckhorn Festival of the Arts on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 10am to 5pm; Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 10am to 4pm. Admission is by donation.
